i hope shes ok
my feet were swollen bigger then that my last couple of months of pregnancy i was seeing floaters and had a high blood pressure so they kept me 4 a 24 hour urine test but my protein in it wasnt high enough to take the baby so he put me on strict complete bed rest and told my fiancee to basically treat me lie a baby and not tell me anything to stress me it was the longest 2 months of my life

Thank you ladies for all your concern & well wishes. Made me tear up a bit lol yes I'm emotional :) I'm at my mothers house right now. I go back in tomorrow for testing. I will keep you all updated. I really hoping my next update will be stating the baby is here!

OH and I have had floaters since I was 13... I get them due to the fact I suffer from seizures. They have actually gotten better with this pregnancy.

Oh they suck and are quite annoying especially when looking at something white! I've had them for a while so I'm use to them but they actually have gotten better with this pregnancy. I hardly notice them.

Oh I am glad you are going in! I had severe pre-eclapsia with Ryan. I was gaining weight rapidly, having dizzy spells, and I was swollen up to my thighs and my whole hands were swollen. Not long before I got that swollen my doctor tried to tell me to watch what I was eating because I was gaining weight to fast. Well I told him I was not eating different and that it was fluid. He looked at me like I was stupid. At the time my blood pressure was not up so I guess they thought I was okay. Well before my next appointment was when I starting really swelling. I called the nurse and she said it was normal and to call if it got worse. Well the swelling did not get worse, but I had gotten a severe headache that would not leave along with severe heartburn in my back. Both are signs of pre-eclampsia. I went to Walmart and took my blood pressure (lol) and then went straight to the ER. They admitted me right away and made me get in a gown and gave me catheter and IV. They would not let me out of bed. They also sent me to a children's hospital in the next state over (about 45 minutes away) where they had a wonderful NICU. Needless to say, he was delivered by the next night.

Watch out for all of those symptoms. You don't need to have them all at once either. The symptoms get worse at you get worse off. How far along are you?

16&pregnant; awnser!
I was 15 when i got pregnant, & 16 when i had my baby. So i had a higher chance of complecations durring my pregnancy, & on top of that, my hospital i went to, made a mistake with the ultra sound and made me go through 10 months of pregnancy instead of 9. Yes, i carried my daughter for an extra month bc the lady at my first ultra sound screwed up. I had a 10 pound, 5 oz baby! But i suffered extreamly hard from preeclampsia. I couldnt walk at all, my face was swollen, my lips where huge every morning, it was extreamly hard to breathe & i could barley talk. (This all started around 7 months) so, i went to my monthly dr apt & kept telling him "im swollen & cant breathe" and his responce every time was "well your blood preasures fine, so you should be ok", wich WAS NOT the case at all. I was basicly dieing slowly bc it was slowing my breatheing down to the point where i couldnt go to the bathroom without gasping for the smallest breath. Yet after all that my doctor didnt beleive me bc my blood presure was fine. DONT LET THAT FOOL YOU. Dont EVER let your dr tell you its "ok" if your having problems, and if they do, go to a diffrent doctor. I paid the price by going through a emergency c-section bc me & my daughter were dying. Me, i was so swollen i couldnt breath & my daughter was so big she was dying from lack of amniotic fluid & space. So i highly recommend getting good care from a good doctor, & i do NOT reccomend Saint James Hospital in Dansvill NY. They are horrible.

I was pregnant with Riley at 36. Blood pressure shot up at 14 weeks. Was stabilized on b.p. medication until 24 weeks. Was transferred to CMC Levines hosp. Diagnosis was Preclampsya. Had emergency c-section at 25 weeks. She stayed in the NICU for 3 months and in Progressive for one month. She had PDA surgery which was successful. Weas going into ROP Stage 3 (stg. 4 is blindness). Had over 1000 laser shots in ea. eye. Surgery successful as well! Has to wear glasses now due to wondering left eye. Recently diagnosed with very mild form of C.P. Despite everything, she functions as a normal 5 yr. old, is very intelligent, beautiful, and one of the tallest kids in her Pre-K class. She graduates in 2 weeks. I am sooooooo proud of her!
